Stringo 550 Crash - developed for moving crashed vehicles


Stringo 550 Crash is designed to be used when moving crashed damage vehicles, for example in forensic testing facilities after road accidents or in the vehicle industry for vehicles that need to be moved after a crash testing.

The Stringo 550 has been adapted to fulfil the demands from the market where damaged cars are being continually moved.

The machine has a remote-controlled winch that can load a vehicle weighing up to five tons by lifting or dragging it onto the machine?s decking. The front decking has a reinforced crash deck plate and steel pressure rollers specially designed to withstand the sharp edges often found on crashed vehicles.

Even vehicles with missing wheels can be moved without problems, provided that the wheels on one axle can roll. The vehicle can be loaded with the wire rope connected to the front or the side of the vehicle. This is possible thanks to a mast feature fitted with a swivelling pulley. When necessary, a chain can be connected between the vehicle and the winch system.

The Stringo 550 Crash can also be used with undamaged vehicles. For this, the winch and tower can be removed quickly and easily.
